Tottenham Hotspur look set to end their pursuit of Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus
to focus on the signings of Raphinha and Richarlison.

With Champions League football on the horizon for the North London side, Antonio Conte is making it clear he wants to strengthen his attack to meet the demand that the upcoming season will bring, and perhaps take some of the strain off their prolific duo Harry Kane and Son Heung-min.

The two Brazilian attackers on Conte’s transfer list narrowly avoided relegation with their sides last season, and whilst both Leeds United and Everton would love to cling on to their star players, it appears as if a move away could be on the cards for both.

Raphinha or Richarlison to Tottenham?

Raphinha is currently one of the most highly sought-after stars on the market; he was linked to Spanish giants Barcelona for the majority of last season, but now with the club struggling to meet the £60m price tag, several teams across the top six have turned their attention to the Leeds talisman.

Spurs may be forced to enter a bidding war with fellow London rivals Arsenal, if they want to seal a deal for the Brazilian’s signature.

He provided 11 goals and three assists in 35 matches across 21/22 and was a pivotal part of
the Yorkshire side’s battle to remain in the Premier League.

Similarly, Richarlison kept spirits alive for the Toffees throughout their survival campaign and
netted crucial goals against Chelsea and Crystal Palace to secure his team’s place in the
safety zone to see out the season.

The 25-year-old has established his place in the hearts of the Everton faithful not only for his passion on the field but his fiery antics against rival clubs.

The star has been known to take to Twitter for the occasional jab against Liverpool, more recently an edited picture of himself laughing following the Reds’ Champions League final loss to Real Madrid.

It’s expected that £50m would be the minimum price to prise him from the reluctant grip of Frank Lampard.

Tottenham remain in for Middlesbrough’s Djed Spence

If Conte was to pursue a deal in the coming weeks, it would likely be for only one of the South American pair given the amount each club is asking for. Tottenham have also been heavily linked to Middlesbrough right-back Djed Spence.

The England U21 international made a name for himself after playing an influential role in the side that saw Nottingham Forest promoted to the top tier of English football for the first time since 1999.

Spence is open to a move to North London however Boro are adamant about receiving at least £15m for the youngster, whilst Spurs continue to push for an agreement of around £10m.
