Liverpool Have an Agreement in Place With Benfica Which Will See Them Sign Darwin Nunez for a Record-Breaking Transfer Fee.

The Reds and the Eagles have verbally agreed to a deal that sees Nunez move to Anfield for a fee said to be €80m plus €20m in a structured deal. He was left out of Uruguaya’s international friendly to avoid any injury setbacks and will complete his move to Liverpool over the next couple of days.

They are also quite close to announcing their deal for Aberdeen’s breakthrough star, Calvin Ramsay, for a fee around £4m that could rise to £6m. Gavi from Barcelona has been linked with a switch but nothing concrete in talks.

Aston Villa, Manchester United, and West Ham United are all exploring the possibility of bringing in Liverpool fringe player,  Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. He could leave Anfield for as little as £10m. Liverpool will look to sell a handful of first-team players to recover some of the €100m they are paying for Darwin Nune; this includes the sale of Sadio Mane to Bayern Munich.

Talking about the African and his inevitable move to German, the Reds have so far rejected two bids and are holding firm for something close to the £40m they evaluate him at; it is believed the two clubs will agree on a deal soon in the coming days.

Arsenal: The Latest to Enter the Race For Raphinha

Leeds United look almost set to lose their talisman before the summer window closes — if they manage to keep him at the club — that will be as good as one of the best buys this summer. The Gunners have now thrown their name in the hat for a possible Raphinha transfer but still see Youri Tielemans and Gabriel Jesus as their summer priorities.

"Been told there are no talks ongoing between Bayer Leverkusen and Arsenal for Granit Xhaka, despite rumours. No negotiations, as of today. t doesn’t change Arsenal plan to sign a new midfielder this summer, with Youri Tielemans still top of the list."

"Arsenal have genuine interest in Raphinha since March, he’s always been appreciated – but there’s still no bid or negotiation with Leeds. Gabriel Jesus & Tielemans, priorities. Leeds won’t accept less than €55m for Raphinha, as of now – message sent to Barça days ago (Via: @FabrizioRomano)."
