Manchester United and Chelsea Enter Race for Robert Lewandowski
Why Does Robert Lewandowski Want to Leave Bayern?
Lewandowski still has one year left on his Bayern Munich contract but his time at the club appears to be over.
German website TZ reported Lewandowski fell out with coach Julian Nagelsmann over tactics:
“The Bayern coach wanted to improve the effectiveness of the flanks… Nagelsmann took his striker aside in a unit to explain to him how he could position himself better after a cross.
“Lewandowski is said to have had no desire for this digression and is said to have reminded the Bayern coach that he had scored 41 goals in one season – and not Nagelsmann.”
With the player now 33, it seems that it will be now or never for us to get the chance to see him play for one of England’s top clubs in England’s top flight.
The Premier League is the best division in the world and therefore needs the best players to be playing in it. Consequently, it would be fantastic to see the Polish striker plying his trade in England.
