Could a Transfer to Chelsea Be on the Cards?

Chelsea are also interested in Lewandowski. However, the Daily Star has reported that they will need to “off-load £97.5m club-record buy Romelu Lukaku. That’s proving far from simple as his former club Inter Milan cannot afford to buy him back outright.”

If they can replace Lukaku who has flopped since his return to Stamford Bridge with Lewandowski, the move should put Chelsea in a position to challenge Manchester City and Liverpool for the title.

Although, that was said when Lukaku joined them and that did not go well at all.

Chelsea’s new owner Todd Boehly will be looking to start his time at the club off right and a big name signing will get the fans onside straight away.
