Season Rating: 5/10

Overall, Leicester did not contend for a UCL spot as they did in the previous two campaigns and even failed to reach their goals of at least qualifying for European competition next season after crashing out in the group stages of this year’s Europa League.

All of this makes it a year to forget for Leicester City with an overall team rating on the year being a 5/10.

Moving forward into next season, Leicester will be out of European competition for the first time since 2019, and will look to finish in the top 6 or 7 in 2022-23.

In order to do so, they will need to acquire one or two strong, defensive-minded players to assure that they do not have the same difficulties defending set pieces that they encountered throughout this season.
