Manchester United’s Most Improved Player: Fred

Fred has been a silver lining for Manchester United during this difficult season. Under both Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ralf Rangnick, Fred ran the show in the absence of midfielders Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes.

From the middle of the park, Fred contributed with 8 G/A in the English Premier League. The season before this, the Brazilian had one goal across 30 games for Manchester United.

Team rating out of 10: 5.5

Conclusion:

After a dismal season, Manchester United will look up to their new manager, Erik ten Hag, to resurrect the club.

The club needs to sign the players on all the fronts to compete across Premier League, Europa League, FA Cup, and Carabao Cup. Also, the fans need to back their new manager even if he fails to bring positive results from day one.
