Soon to be free agent Paul Pogba remains tight-lipped about where his next destination will be when he leaves Manchester United at the end of his contract. Juventus believe the midfielder wants a return and are confident they can beat PSG to his signature.

As Manchester United prep for life after Paul Pogba, the player himself is yet to decide his future and what team he will play for next. Old club Juventus, always admirers PSG, and the withdrawing Real Madrid were all named as viable locations for the Frenchman to end up at.

Juventus have always wanted Paul Pogba back

Since having a torrid time at Old Trafford and always in the media eye for whatever reason, the Old Lady constantly wanted their prized gem back. Now that he is at the end of his current deal with the Premier League side, they see it as the perfect opportunity to try and lure him back to the Allianz Stadium.

Sadly, they are well aware that their offer is not as attractive as Paris Saint-Germain’s, who are offering him a four-year deal to join them. Juve can, at best, offer him a three-year deal and then discuss an extension at a later stage, when financials are sorted out at the club. They are planning to initiate talks with his agent soon, according to Fabrizio Romano.

It is very likely wages will not be a problem for the Serie A side. They are offloading a few of their world-class stars on big salaries; Paulo Dybala and Giorgio Chiellini will be leaving at the end of the season. The former was on a reported £220k-per-week and the latter earned a documented £92k-per-week.

More will follow through the exit doors at the Allianz and will free up the money needed to influence a player of Pogba’s quality to their club. He was after the status of being the best-paid player in the English Premier League, as well as the world. Can they make that type of promise?

Paul Pogba has already held talks with sporting director Leonardo

Back in April, when the decision was supposedly finalised that the World Cup winner won’t stay at Manchester United any longer, he met with PSG’s sporting director, Leonardo.

"Paul Pogba met with Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo to discuss a move this summer, Foot Mercato in France reports. With the midfielder’s Manchester United contract expiring at the end of the season, the 29-year-old is expected to leave Old Trafford. (Via: eurosport.com)"

The Parisians have struggled to maintain a consistent midfield and require alterations. With Zinedine Zidane still rumoured to be Mauricio Pochettino’s successor at the French club, the player could be very tempted by the PSG project.

Real Madrid move off for Paul Pogba?

Real Madrid has understandably turned their attention elsewhere, following another poor season for Pogba; failing to bring Man United trophies again. Also, being 29 years old could give Los Blancos even more reason not to entertain the idea of a Pogba deal.

They have been targeting younger players and it seems to have paid off with them already crowned La Liga champions and in a Champions League final.
