NEXT 8 FIXTURES: BRE, NOR, NEW, BUR, LEI, MUN, WAT, WHU

Since Thomas Tuchel took charge, Chelsea have been in the top 2 strongest defenses in the league by nearly every metric.

A rather controversial pick from the Chelsea defense, Reece James seems to have established himself as the first-choice right wing-back when fit and I’d expect him to start somewhere between 70-75% of league games when available.

Despite this, the big attacking upside makes James a worthy Wildcard pick for Chelsea’s major fixture turn – one goal, 2 assists, and 1 clean sheet in just 4 features this campaign.

Azpilicueta and Rudiger are safer and slightly more expensive routes into this defense however, provided there’s adequate bench cover, James brings explosive points potential to the table.
