While rotation is inevitable with Pep Guardiola because of the quality of the Manchester City squad, Cancelo has distinguished himself as a potent tactical weapon playing left back and has started every Premier League game thus far.

City has been putting up some truly incredible defensive numbers and Cancelo affords a fairly safe (expect the odd benching here and there) route into this defense with the added perk of some strong underlying numbers.

He’s managed 10 shots, 8 chances created and 2 FPL assists in addition to 5 clean sheets. Ruben Dias seems a similarly secure pick at a similar price but the attacking upside of Cancelo makes him my preferred choice.
