Ferran Torres (Manchester City) – £7.2m

Displaying the most transfers out so far this week, it would be hard to not include Torres in this article – despite the fact he did not play a single minute in GW5! This is the main issue with Torres – the Pep roulette.

KDB and Foden have now returned from injury, meaning Pep has a fully functional attacking force to deploy. He has many options to choose from, and the fact that KDB, Sterling, Jesus and Foden can all play in Torres’ central role, his minutes going forward could be a concern.

With Chelsea away and Liverpool away in the next 2 fixtures, it is not surprising that Torres is the most transferred out FPL asset this week. Many managers have little tolerance for the Pep roulette, and you cannot really blame them.

Verdict

Unless you brought in Torres as a long-term hold, or you are fully equipped to handle the Pep roulette with a strong bench – then it may be time to get rid of Torres.

Also, for those managers planning to Wildcard in GW7 or GW8, then Torres should be an immediate sell due to the next 2 difficult fixtures for Manchester City.
