Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool) – £7.5m

Despite the somewhat disappointing start to last season’s Premier League campaign, Trent Alexander-Arnold has only impressed so far this season. He has already created 21 chances in his first 4 games – which is an incredible average of 5.25 chances created per game!

One assist and a clean sheet against Leeds United was all it took for the Liverpool right-back to take the maximum 3 bonus points this week – putting him on 12 FPL points in GW4.

To little surprise, Trent Alexander-Arnold is the highest-scoring defender so far with 34 points.

If you don’t own Alexander-Arnold in FPL, he may have already hindered your rank. With Crystal Palace and Brentford in the next 2 EPL meetings, there is little point in waiting to bring him in.

Liverpool’s long term fixtures are also very generous, with the two Manchester clubs being the only significant challenges up until Gamweek 17.

As a result, Trent could even be classified as a priority transfer over the likes of Ronaldo due to the extremely favourable upcoming fixtures.
