Even though it was a short run, Lukaku had one of his most efficient Premier League runs at West Brom.

He played 35 games where he only started 20 and scored 17 goals – he was only 19 years old. The Belgian striker was on loan from Chelsea and proved that he could be very valuable in the EPL but Chelsea was not so convinced.

Lukaku helped West Brom to achieve an 8th-place finish in the 2012-13 season. They haven’t been able to get into the top 10 again barring one more time since then, including two relegations, the last being last season, and then spending at least two years in the Championship.

This particular campaign helped Lukaku a lot individually, it was his fifth-best scoring season out of his twelve seasons in his career.

Also, at only 19 years old, it gave him a lot of experience in the EPL, which would help him in the future with Everton where he did amazing things for them.
