Southampton – E

Southampton could be in for a painful year again, having only brought in Theo Walcott, who didn’t really impress last year and French Left-Back Romain Perraud, it could be a very inconsistent year.

The Saints have the players to step up but if they don’t add more quality then they could be yo-yo-ing up and down again.

Need to put some money up to stop the inconsistencies, E.

Tottenham Hotspur – D

Bringing in Bryan Gil is a good set-up for the future, and who knows what this team will be like under Nuno but this team has too many holes, and that’s before we work out where Harry Kane will be.

Need to sort out the defence and bring in someone up front as you can’t wait on Kane, but Gil is a start, D.

Watford – C

Watford, like they always do, have brought in a lot of players this window, but as Premier League experience goes, it’s minimum. They will clearly be hoping that the experience and quality that went down two years ago, can help this team cement its place once again.

A good squad, but lacks top-level experience and this window leaves me questioning it, C.

West Ham United – C

This window feels like it was about keeping the squad together and that’s exactly what they’ve done. Just Craig Dawson in and zero losses to the first team. Could do with another striking option and to get Jesse Lingard back would really elevate this grade.

Done exactly what they have needed to other than bring in Lingard, C.

Wolverhampton Wanderers – B

Difficult to judge with it being under new management but looks like a decent window so far.

Swapping Rui Patricio for Jose Sa isn’t a bad deal. Making Rayan Ait-Nouri is solid after watching him last year, while getting Francisco Trincao is a huge coup. Add that to the fact Fabio Silva will be in his second season and Raul Jimenez is back and this squad is very good.

Solid window, just looking for Bruno Lage to put his stamp on this side, B.
