Manchester City – B

Another team that don’t really need anything, have brought a few in for the future, which is good. Could do with adding a striker, but I feel that may be coming later on.

City ticking over like they always do, B.

Manchester United – C

United have made the blockbuster transfer of the window so far signing Jadon Sancho, and the 21-year-old can make a real impact and is a very good signing, but it doesn’t really fix United’s Issues.

They need a holding midfielder and centre back, and although it looks as though Raphael Varane will come in, which would raise the grade, they don’t seem to have found a DM and they still need to offload a lot of players.

Sancho is a good signing, but need to get Varane and throw some players overboard, C.

Newcastle United – D

I could easily have given this an E, but given Newcastle’s situation, I’ll raise it. They haven’t brought anyone in, but they have offloaded a lot of expensive rubbish and maintained the squad, that when fully fit, got them to 12th.

Kind of a nothing window, but have a lot of experience in the squad and they’re keeping hold of it, D.

Norwich City – A

I’m definitely getting overexcited, but Norwich have had a brilliant window. They lost Buendia and brought in Milot Raschica, who should be playing higher, adding Angus Gunn and Ben Gibson adds to the Premier League experience they have in the squad.

To top it off they added Billy Gilmour who is an incredibly hot commodity at the minute.

Exceptional window, bringing in quality, but not unguided quality, A.
