Ezgjan Alioski – Ex-Leeds United Wing-Back/Wing

When Leeds United announced Ezjan Alioski would not be returning to Elland Road after four years it surely sent shockwaves throughout the Premier League.

The 29-year-old North Macedonian player had recently featured 36 times for Marcelo Bielsa’s high octane system.

So to see him end on such a sour note, was surprising, to say the least. To also say Junior Firpo has some shoes to fill, would be an understatement.

The left-back was a key cog of Marcelo Bielsa’s offensive machine, scoring 2 times and assisting on three other occasions.

His bursts forward on the counter-attack being a key staple of Bielsa’s system.

During the Euro’s Alioski averaged 3 tackles per game, while delivering 1 key pass per game, and even chipped in with a goal.

Any Premier League team looking for a proven and capable left-back, and as a free agent, Alioski is your man.
