Daryl Dike – Orlando City

Plucked from the obscurity of Orlando City, did Daryl Dike repay Barnsley’s faith?

Having signed for the South Yorkshire club in February, Dike became Barnsley’s second-leading goal scorer with 9 goals scored. Having returned to the Florida outfit Dike has not dropped his hot goalscoring form having scored 2 goals in 4 games.

Only 21, Dike has already featured for the USMNT, having scored in his last outing against Costa Rica. His value is currently listed at $5 million according to Transfermarkt, well within Burnley’s tight transfer budget.

Although he is not the finished article, 9 goals in your first taste of British football is not bad having had no proper off-season.

With Vydra, Barnes, and Jay Rodriguez having scored 7 goals combined, Burnley could use a breath of fresh air to partner Woods upfront.
