Now, it could well and truly be a long shot, but if reports are to be believed, Inter are willing to let Milan Skriniar leave given the suitor matches the asking price of €60 million.

As things stand, Gianluca Di Marzio claims that Tottenham have enquired about the 26-year-old and they have been told to pay the aforementioned price. Apart from the London club, PSG are thought to be keeping a close eye on the development as well.
Inter are expected to cut costs as part of their financial recovery. The club endured big losses due to the COVID-19 pandemic and this was one of the reasons why Antonio Conte left the team in the first place.
The former Chelsea boss was asked to cut the wage bill by 15-20% so that the team can make around €70-100 million from player sales. Refusing to do so resulted in Conte terminating his contract. As far as Skriniar is concerned, he remains one of Inter’s main men, and thus is their golden bird.
If the Italian champions are indeed looking to bring in some cash, Skriniar’s sale could potentially boost that. And this is where Manchester United can make their move.
