Liverpool want to wrap up business quickly for Dutch and Euro 2020 wonderkid
One Dutchman out the doors at Anfield and now the club looks like they want to add a new Dutchman to the ranks. Liverpool are ready to open talks for Holland and Euro 2020 sensation, Donyell Malen.
Donyell Malen has fast become the talk of the tournament – well, that is him and the rest of his teammates who have topped Group C and have qualified for Euro 2020 Round of 16, where they face off against the Czech Republic on Sunday, 27 June.
It is believed that the master in the arts of pulling off A-class deals, Michael Edwards, wants to get things moving along swiftly and a deal over the line promptly for Donyell Malen; the sooner they can open talks the better it seems.

Besides breaking into the Dutch side in his first major tournament with his country and marvelling us with a pair of assists, Malen has been banging in goals in the Dutch Eredivisie for PSV Eindhoven.
Malen has reached double figures in the past three seasons for PSV, his lat being his best return so far with 19 goals and eight assists in 32 appearances. Adding to this, Arsenal were his former employees having sold him to his current owners, PSV, back in 2017.
He spent two years at the Emirates and was unable to break into the first team under ex-Gunner great, Arsene Wenger. Now he is one of the most coveted players at the European Championships.
Liverpool face competition from Borussia Dortmund to sign Donyell Malen
With the Reds transfer listing a few first-team players to raise funds for new signings, meeting the asking price for the 22-year-old will not be a problem.
Although, they will face difficulties in trying to sign him over other potential suitors. Borussia Dortmund, ahead of Liverpool, were in talks with PSV Eindhoven and Malen’s entourage as their search for a Jadon Sancho replacement, who is Manchester bound this summer.
This is where experts believe Liverpool will lose out on landing the youngster, as talks are said to have gone quite smoothly between the German and Dutch clubs.
