Jesús Corona also referred to as ‘Tecatito’ Corona has been named as a potential target for Arsenal as they look to do a massive overhaul by adding many new faces to the squad during the summer.

Jesús Corona has been one of the most important players of Liga NOS for the last six years. He’s been crucial for Porto’s two championships and was a key player for the Dragons in their quarterfinals run in the last edition of the Champions League.

He’s a very versatile player who can play either in the right-back or right-wing position. The Mexican is probably one of the players that fit Arsenal the best.

Arteta is trying to rebuild Arsenal and just the fact they are trying to bring in one of the most efficient players in the past few seasons is a good start.

Hector Bellerín is most likely not in Arteta’s plans for the future and the Spanish manager is not happy with Willian’s performance. With Corona, Arteta can fill out these two spots since he can slot in both positions easily.

It would hand the Gunners a player who can participate in most of the games since he’s usually fit and almost never injured. He was one of the players with the most minutes played for Porto last season.

He also scored two goals and assisted a further nine goals while playing most of the season as a right-back.

He has a buyout clause in his contract of €25 million which is not much and Arsenal could use this to their advantage. Other clubs like Sevilla, Chelsea, and Fiorentina are also interested in the services of the Mexican.
