14. Norwich City – A different setting is expected. Will Norwich be the only one of the three promoted to secure a PL spot for next season?

Throwing this one out there as the surprise of next season. Norwich have a team full of players who have played at this level and the majority of them, are the group that was here two years ago and will be better this time around.

If they can keep hold of Emi Buendia and find a contingency plan for the ageing striker Teemu Pukki, then the Canaries can survive and even have a surprisingly good season.

15. Burnley

Sean Dyche’s 4-4-2 Burnley are safe for another year. No doubt with some wins at one of the top four along the way.

This one’s quite simple, they do what they always do and find a way to win with direct football and stay in the Premier League for at least another season.

16. Southampton

Southampton finds themselves lost in no man’s land with a team that becomes rather mediocre. Ralph Hassenhutl does not last the season and if Danny Ings is there at the start, he certainly will not be there at the end.

The Saints struggle throughout and must go on a good run to stay up in an off year but got the job done on staying up. One to forget for the South Coasters, sixteenth.

17. Crystal Palace

The Eagles struggle heavily in 2021/22 but have the quality to just about stay out of trouble.

No one knows who will be in charge of Palace next season but whoever it is will not have the experience that Roy Hodgson gave the team over past seasons, that experience has been everything to this team and without it, they will struggle.

It looks likely they will lose Wilfried Zaha soon, a player who drags them out of the mood on most occasions. Crystal Palace have a worrying year but survive, seventeenth.
