8. Leeds United – Wil they ever found themselves fighting for a European spot?

Another season under Marcelo Bielsa will give Leeds another top-half finish. They may have a bit of “second season syndrome” but work too hard to not find a way into the top 10.

Another good season could signal the loss of players such as Raphinha at the end of the season, nonetheless, Leeds change nothing about who they are and bag eighth, moving up one place from 2020/21.

9. Arsenal

Arsenal will be carried by youth in 2021, with Bukayo Saka, Emile Smith-Rowe and Gabriel Martinelli running the show.

Seems unlikely they will get above ninth in 2021/22 with all the baggage this team has but they look to the youngsters in a year where they have no European football.

A young Arsenal side finishes ninth as the first year of a rebuild, with or without Mikel Arteta.

10. West Ham United

West Ham only manages 10th in 21/22 as they struggle with the number of games they will have to play due to European commitments.

The Hammers lack real goalscoring presence when Antonio is injured and with the extra games, the team will see less of him, nonetheless, David Moyes guides West Ham just into the top half with other quality in the squad.
