Yangel Herrera – Venezuela

Yangel can probably be named the best Venezuelan player in the country’s history if he keeps going on this road.

Manchester City acquired the services of Herrera back in 2017 and has been on loan abroad since then.

He has been a key player for Granada in the last two seasons, being one of their most successful players. He’s an all-around midfielder who plays defense and offense at an outstanding level.

Teams like Valencia, Betis, and Sporting Lisboa are already interested in the 23 years old. He’s going to be Venezuela’s most important player for this tournament and he’s key if they want to succeed in it.

He’s going to be the guy in charge of the midfield when Tomas Rincon retires and the future captain of La Vinotinto. I think Herrera can do a decent job at a top-six club anywhere in Europe before he finishes his career.

He should certainly be playing at a bigger club than Granada next season since I’m pretty sure that he would have a great Copa America.
