Sancho’s transfer to Manchester United looking likely
Jadon Sancho has been a reported transfer target for Manchester United for quite some time now — with rumours going back as far as the summer of last season.
They have quite clearly been the favourites to sign the talented Englishman but a move never really materialized.
It’s almost inevitable for Sancho to eventually move to a different club. Most of the signs point to a Premier League move for the English superstar.
Well, it would make a lot of sense because he was born and raised in England, so obviously he’s used to the culture and the language.
There’s some good news for Manchester United fans, at least according to reports. There has been a lot of those, as of late. It seems like Manchester United have quite a few targets for the summer.
Eurosport has reported an increase in Sancho’s interest to sign for Manchester United, and that he wants the move in the summer.
It says that he was frustrated that the move wasn’t completed last year, but is now very confident about him playing at Old Trafford very soon.
There have been many other rumours indicating The Red Devils’ interest in him as of late.
Sancho has had a particularly good 2021. He’s scored 10 goals in the last 13 games, which has taken Dortmund back to the top four. He has 33 goal contributions this season.
Does Sancho solve a positional need for Manchester United?

Definitely. If there’s one thing that Manchester United’s attack is somewhat lacking in, it’s that right-wing spot, and Sancho slots in perfectly.
He’s an amazing dribbler, he attracts bodies towards him and allows other attackers to make runs in the empty spaces. He’s very intelligent with the ball and creates chances really well. I’m sure you all know.
There’s just something about Sancho. Like, a “good arrogance”, you could call it.
He knows how good he is. He doesn’t say it, he shows it on the pitch and leaves a subtle little grin for the opponents to notice, because he knows he is probably better than most players he faces.
His decision making is well beyond his age, and would be perfect for Manchester United, one hundred per cent.
Sancho would take Manchester United from being a top-four team to being actual title contenders if this move ever materializes.
It’ll take some weight off of Bruno Fernandes’ shoulders in terms of chance creation, and can help Manchester United a lot in scoring a bunch of goals as well.
It’s still nowhere near confirmed. But, according to reports, it’s likely. It also depends on the price; 100 million euros is certainly a lot of money in a time like this. But, Manchester United may reportedly bid on him for around 90 million euros. Let’s see what happens.
