Manchester City: What has happened to Raheem Sterling this season?

Why is Guardiola not giving Sterling a chance?

There is the obvious reason that Guardiola is maybe just sidelining Sterling and not including the winger in the game for resting reasons or energy conservation. But overall in the season, this has not been the case.

Sterling has 381 more minutes played in the Premier League than Mahrez and 726 more minutes than Foden. It is clear that Guardiola has given Sterling the opportunity to shine, but the winger has not answered on the field.

The winger has not been part of the last two games, against Aston Villa and PSG. Guardiola decided to leave the winger on the bench without having minutes on the field.
