It has been a rough couple of weeks for Tottenham Hotspur fans who are currently enduring emotional turmoil at the moment.

Their previous manager Jose Mourinho was sacked prior to their loss to Manchester City in the EFL Cup Final. Following the announcement, the North London club appointed Ryan Mason as their interim manager.

Mason, who is an ex-Spurs player, first game in charge was arguably the biggest test for any new manager coming to a team in the top six.

They had to go up against the current Premier League leaders and following their loss, have jeopardized their hopes of an automatic Europa League qualification.

It didn’t stop there for Spurs

Added to the series of bad news, the Lillywhites’ have to deal with one more heartbreak. The North London outfit might have to end their pursuit of signing Julian Nagelsmann as a possible managerial target.

Bayern Munich have reportedly agreed to a deal with the RB Leipzig gaffer. According to reports, Julian Nagelsmann is set to be the Bavarian boss commencing next season, with the deal all but confirmed.

"Julian Nagelsmann will be Bayern Munich’s next manager as they edge closer to an agreement with RB Leipzig, The Athletic understands. Hansi Flick is due to leave the Allianz Arena at the end of the season and Bayern Munich were hunting for a new boss.

As per Fabrizio Romano, the German Football Association want to hire the current Bayern Munich boss as the German national team head coach.

Nagelsmann was an obvious choice and logical as well, given his track record. In his tenure with RB Leipzig, Julian Nagelsmann has 53 wins and only 16 losses in 90 games.

The manager also led the side to the Champions League Semifinal last season with the limited resources he had at his disposal.

The fee that RB Leipzig are demanding from Bayern Munich is exasperating. The German outfit are demanding an astronomical sum of £26million to release Nagelsmann two years prior to his contract expiration date.

Only this aspect can be a roadblock for Munich to acquire the services of a 33-year old talent. He is probably the hottest young manager in the game and has been doing exceptional things.
