What has impressed the Egyptian food magnate about the Clarets most that they are so keen to purchase the Turf Moor club?

Mohamad El Kashashy has been impressed with the functioning of the well-run club and is ready, as well as prepared to back the manager, Sean Dyche, who is looking for funds to improve his squad.

Burnley are the only side who never spent a single penny during the summer transfer window. The other partner in the deal Chris Farnell was disqualified for a period of five weeks after he failed the EFL’s Owners and Directors’ Test carried out by those at the top.

Also, the technical irregularity during the attempted takeover of Charlton Athletic had prevented him from becoming a DOF for any football club. At present, the disqualification and suspension have been lifted by the independent Arbitration Panel.

Why the takeover happening is bad for the club and the manager at the moment?

Though the takeover news is exciting for fans, it comes with a lot of uncertainty too. The club didn’t spend a penny in the summer transfer window which can be due to the potential takeover talks.

Because of the takeover talks, the manager’s role will also come under scrutiny and it becomes very tough for a manager who will be now and forevermore walking on a tight rope. Everyone at the club, including the staff, are seeking clarity regarding their future.

Sean Dyche has a very thin squad left with him and the indecisiveness regarding the ownership will increase his woes. The winter transfer window will be a crucial one for Burnley considering their current form in the top flight.
