Man United: Federico Chiesa is a good alternative to Jadon Sancho at Old Trafford
By Varun Aithal
Federico Chiesa is yet to prove his doubters wrong.
As the Italian winger hasn’t gotten a chance to perform at the highest level in football, such as the World Cup and Champions League, pundits and critics have called the player overrated.
Despite having the potential to be a world-beater, Federico is yet to prove them wrong. Manchester United can be the perfect destination for the player after securing their Champions League spot for next season.

He is not only known for his attacking instincts, but the player also possesses defensive capabilities too. Florentina has often fielded a 3-5-2 formation in which the player has operated as a right-sided forward.
Federico Chiesa has accounted for 1.3 tackles and 1.2 dribbles per game for Florentina, compared to that of Sancho’s 0.5 dribbles and 0.4 tackles per game.
With Manchester United struggling to sign Sancho, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer should opt for Federico as he is financially viable. Federico Chiesa has a market value of €48 million, a fee a lot less than that of Jadon Sancho.
Right-winger is not the only position that the club has to reinforce in the summer. With CDM and a CB still required. Signing an equivalent player of the same caliber would be a logical choice.
