The most awaited transfer moves a step closer to completion.
Since the conclusion of a gruelling run of fixtures in Project Restart, Manchester United players have deserved a few days off before the focus tilts on the Europa League campaign. But, the fans have been excited with the opening of the transfer market as they eagerly wait for the breakthrough on their most coveted target, Jadon Sancho.
Considering the gigantic amount of finances involved in this deal, both Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund are playing their cards close to the chest, using the media outlets to leverage the deal in their favour.
To an extent, clubs have created the vibe to their liking where the parties know the demands of each other. As things stand, the groundwork has been laid, hinting towards the structure of the deal to bring Jadon Sancho to Old Trafford this summer.

With the ongoing discussions, there has been an understanding that suggests significant progress of dialogue between the hierarchy of the clubs involved. It is learnt that Der BVB have agreed on an initial payment of 60 Million Euros from Manchester United, ultimately rising to the desired €120m via bonus add-ons.
As per Jan Aage Fjortoft, the dialogues are ongoing between the clubs over the clauses related to further payments. Once the total agreement is reached, Manchester United are expected to place their official bid to Borussia Dortmund.
However, considering the challenging economic status-quo, the final clauses could take a while before being settled. In all likeliness, Jadon Sancho is all but unlikely to be Man United’s next number seven, with Alexis Sanchez well poised to make a permanent switch to Inter Milan.
Dortmund, too, have begun their preparations for the departure of an attacking superstar, with Jonathan Ikone deemed as a perfect replacement for the English prodigy.
Man United are set to turn their attention towards attacking midfield recruitment once the Jadon Sancho deal is pushed over the line, having intensely been linked with Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish.
