Arsenal – Aston Villa away & Watford at home

Arsenal beat the newly crowned champions and they do have an outside chance of getting back into the Europe League if results go their way. They play 2 teams who are fighting the drop which is both good because clearly they are not great teams, but also bad as they should have that fight still in them.

Arsenal are also a difficult team to predict or rely upon in FPL, with Aubameyang disappointing many owners in DGW30 and their defence not only capable but prone to disastrous errors!

Sheffield United – Everton at home and Southampton away

In my model of the league, back at the beginning of the season, it predicted Sheffield United would stay up, but in 16th or 17th place. I don’t think anybody would have predicted they would be in the fight for Europa League alongside Man United, Tottenham and Arsenal.

They face two teams who are comfortably mid-table, which should give you hope for back-to-back clean sheets, although Southampton are capable of springing a surprise, as Man United will tell you.

Man City – Watford away and Norwich at home

Man City have secured their Champions League place and Pep roulette was already in full swing, so now it will be an even bigger gamble. He rested KDB and brought Sterling on for an ineffective 45 minutes in their previous game, while Jesus has started every game since the 4-0 drubbing of Liverpool.

They have relegated Norwich and Watford who are in danger of following the Canaries down in their last two fixtures. Surely it should be two easy wins for Man City but predicting who will get the points will be hard!

Stats

Since the restart…

  • Antonio has taken more shots than any other player (26) and the most in the box (22)
  • He has also had more big chances than any other player with 9 (followed by Salah with 7)
  • Antonio and Salah are also top of penalty box touches
  • Craig Dawson is leading the way for defenders with 14 goal attempts and 13 in the box
  • Unsurprisingly, De Bruyne has created more chances than anyone else with 24 (including 7 big chances)
  • Digne is top for chances created among defenders with 11

TTF Mini League

Jason McDonagh, who has been near the top for a long time, has stretched his lead to 20 points and it will surely be difficult to catch him now. Although he has used all his chips, while Abiodun Abiona in 3rd still has a free hit up their sleeve.

It will go down to the wire! But all 3 (including Shuki Wyman in 2nd) have had an incredible season and sit inside the top 3,000, hopefully, they can stay there and push on up for 2 more weeks.
