1. Mino Raiola connection and his Italian dreams

According to the reports, Jesse Lingard has signed up with one of the most powerful agents, Mino Raiola. He is also the agent of the World Cup winner, Paul Pogba.

Mino Raiola is known for his absurd comments about the club. Most recently in the Pogba saga, Manchester United faced the wrath of Mino. The agent tried very hard to proctor a move for Paul Pogba, but it didn’t materialize. With one more player being linked with the same agent, it could potentially disrupt the squad harmony.

Reports suggest that Jesse Lingard is in contact with his former teammate Ashley Young and Roma defender, Chris Smalling. They further stated the player has asked what life and the playing conditions are like in Italy. With West Ham United, AS Roma and Milan linked with the player, it would be better for Manchester United to sell the disgruntled player.

2. Surplus of requirement players at Old Trafford

Everyone knows that the 27-year-old operates as an attacking midfielder for the Old Trafford outfit. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer already has multiple players who can play in CAM position. Bruno Fernandes, Juan Mata, and Andreas Periera can all operate in the same position and have performed better than Lingard there.

As previously mentioned, the addition of Daniel James has added the required flare to the Red Devils’ flanks. Mason Greenwood has performed whenever he has started on the right-wing or as a right forward. He is a regular starter with his stunning performances following the restart.

These players have pushed Jesse to the fringe. The question is, what is the use of a player if he is not deployed correctly? With Manchester United preparing themselves for high profile transfers, it would be better to ship off the player that has reached surplus of requirement.
