Who’s up first for Wolves?

First, they host Arsenal and travel to Sheffield next, both of which have been in slumps of late but still have the talent and coaching to cause problems for Wolves. They tied both of the reverse fixtures 1-1.

From there they have to play Everton. While they sit in mid-table, they have been a different side since the appointment of Carlo Ancelotti.

They drew to both Manchester United and Liverpool in their last four games, although the United draw was before the break-in play. It’s another revenge game for Wolves, as they lost the reverse fixture 3-2 way back in Matchday 4.

A trip to Burnley and a home fixture against Crystal Palace make up their next two fixtures. In the reverse fixtures, Wolves needed stoppage-time goals in both to draw 1-1 on each occasion.

Burnley have won their last two games, rebounding after a 5-0 loss to Manchester City in their first game after the restart. Palace on the other hand won their first game back but has since fallen to back-to-back defeats.

The games are still in the distant future and their form could easily change. You would assume to make right on the earlier draws and pick up six points in the two games if they are to truly pursue a Champions League spot.

It’s crucial to avoid dropping points in any of the five fixtures, cause Wolves have to end the season with a trip to Stamford Bridge. Chelsea has already beaten them once this year, winning 5-2 at Molineux.

With Chelsea currently chasing Leicester City for third place, and trying to maintain their gap over United and Wolves, it will likely be a big game for both sides. Its far from an ideal way to end the season, fortunately, Matchday 38 is the one fixture where United may also face some issues.
