The “Special One” could become the “Annoying One” after the announcement of him being named the new Spurs manager. With 12 games played in the season so far, what exactly can Jose add to his 2019-20 short-term goals?

The definition of the word ruthless has been altered and modified. When you search for the word ruthless in the dictionary the definition will state; “Daniel Levy from Tottenham Hotspurs sacked Mauricio Pochettino on a Tuesday night and hired Jose Mourinho the next morning”.

The scenes were crazy, the internet flooded with Mourinho, and mercy was nowhere to be found. The only man who can be so great at his job that when they announce him you don’t whether to love him or hate him in his new appointment.

After the Portuguese was installed as the new White Hart Lane boss, it got me thinking of what purpose this once untouchable man will serve in the Premier League this season. No doubt he will already be sweating when thinking about having to fill in for Pochettino.

A hard feat to accomplish. Mauricio played attractive football and in five years kept getting the Lillywhites to the Champions League, and most recently was the runners-up to Liverpool after an all-English final.

This will obviously be his first priority to reach top four, no questions asked. But what exactly will be this charismatic manager’s job this season? I believe it’s upset every manager on their respective quests.

He is probably the only person who could have an ill effect on all the managers in the league, simultaneously. He could play one fixture and shake up the whole league. So here’s what The Top Flight thinks Jose Mourinho will play a part in this season.
