Differential Picks

Andriy Yarmolenko (MID, 5.9m, Crystal Palace at home)

West Ham have some good fixtures remaining before a difficult run in November. Yarmolenko could be the man to take advantage of in those fixtures as he continues to cement his spot in the first team after missing last season through a knee injury. He has scored 3 in his last 4 games and loves cutting inside to take a shot, so hopefully, he can keep up his good form.

Defensive Pick

Nick Pope (GK, 4.6m, Everton at home)

If you’re looking for a replacement for the injured Fabianski, Pope is the easy and obvious answer. I’ve picked him out a few time already this season and the reasons still stand. Burnley are underpriced following an underwhelming season due to their Europa League campaign, they are a solid defensive unit and Pope gets plenty of save points. He won’t get you clean sheets every week but he saves you 1.5m over the likes of Ederson and Allison (when he returns).

John Lundstram (DEF, 4.4m, Watford away)

I don’t think I’ve picked out Lundstram yet this season which seems like an oversight! He started at just 4.0m but 2 double-figure hauls later and he is in 29.2% of teams! But you haven’t missed your chance because he’s still just 4.4m. He gives you access to a robust Sheffield United defence while also presenting an enticing OOP prospect. Get him in as soon as possible, what have you got to lose!

Fikayo Tomori (DEF, 4.6m, Southampton away)

Chelsea kept their first clean sheet of the season last week and Tomori snagged a bonus point as well! The young centre back is another player benefitting from Chelsea’s enforced youth policy and Lampard’s faith in him should mean we have a permanent top 6 centreback available for just 4.6m.
