Leicester 0-0 Wolves

Debutants: Caglar Soyuncu, Perez (Leicester), Cutrone (Wolves)

  • Man of the match display. The Turk was defensively impeccable and imperious in the air, won a battle of strength and wits against a witty Wolves attack.
  • Cutrone ran his socks off but couldn’t find the goal. Good chemistry with Jimenez.

Newcastle 0-1 Arsenal

Debutants: Jetro Willems and Joelinton (Newcastle), Pepe and Ceballos (Arsenal)

  • A robust introduction to the Premier League for Jetro (caught in possession for the goal), but he recovered and grew well into the game.
  • Joelinton was clearly deprived of services. Also, he had a couple of clear glimpses of goal.
  • Intelligent passing from the Real Madrid loanee (Ceballos) but Pepe, the record signing had very little to offer coming on from the bench. Left a lot to be desired!!
