The summer transfer window is now closed, and the English Premier League sides have spent almost 1.58 billion euros in the transfer market.

After analyzing the transfer dealings of the top-six team, here I scrutinized the challengers of the Premier League top-dogs.

Top-six challengers

  • Wolves
  • Everton
  • Leicester
  • West Ham
  • Watford

Let’s look at the incoming and outgoing of the wannabe big-boys of the Premier League.

Wolves:

A solid transfer window for the Wanderers. They held onto their big stars. All while signings Jiménez and Dendoncker with permanent deals.

They also secured the signature of Italian Wonderkid Patrick Cutrone from A.C. Milan and Vallejo from Real Madrid (loan).

They are looking pretty solid for their Europa League adventure and challenging the top six. They can surely make a statement as the best club outside of the top six if they are to push on from their heroics.
