Spurs waiting on response from Paulo Dybala – Juventus accept £70m bid
A massive steal if Spurs pull off Dybala and a major worry to all of their Premier League rivals if they get it concluded before the summer window shuts down.
News broke earlier today that Spurs have submitted a bid to the value of £70 million for Juventus attacker, Paulo Dybala. The news changed with haste after the bid bombshell was followed with Juventus accepting the proposition.
Now Mauricio Pochettino and Spurs must convince a player who doesn’t really want to leave Italy and that has a high wage demand to head over to London. That’s according to Man United and part of the reason why they pulled out of the deal.

United is not missing out
If the Manchester side somehow pulls off the deal for Christian Eriksen, it will free up space and funds for the North Londoners to ensure a Dybala transfer. But in this one, we all know the quality of Eriksen and what he has to offer any team, including United.
The Red Devils are in need of Premier League greats and the attacking midfielder is one of them, hands down. Adding to the Premier League factor, it seems it is a trend with them presently confirming the arrival of Harry Maguire from Leicester City.
The same goes for Bruno Fernandes and the likes of Paulo Dybala, who would be considered a backup option to Marcus Rashford. This, only because of the high wage increase the English forward received ahead of the season.
The Juventus man would surely drop to the number 10 role or out wide. So a natural proven number 10 over a makeshift unproven Premier League player? I’d say it’s an easy decision.
A better fit for Spurs
The Argentine will find life at White Hart Lane far easier to adapt to than in Manchester. Mauricio is good with moulding players into his well-structured Spurs side.
With the additions made and the draw of Champions League football, Spurs’ propose a better option and fit for a player on the waiting list to leave the Old Lady.
Not that he wants to journey far from Italy, the club needs his funding. The wait is on for an answer. Football of fight to play football… That is the question for the young forward, Paulo Dybala.
The North London boss has shared his admiration for Dybala. Why wouldn’t he move over?
