Wales international Harry Wilson looks set for another spell away from Anfield, Bournemouth being the destination following a very impressive season at Championship side Derby County.

The 22-Year-Old wide man has this summer been linked with numerous sides, including Top Flight teams in Newcastle and newly promoted Aston Villa, the latter doing major business thus far in the summer transfer window.

Permanent moves to both those sides coming to nothing, it looks like a loan spell at the Cherries is on the cards, the player reportedly undergoing a medical. Klopp and Liverpool consider him to be a part of the future with Premier League exposure vital to his growth.

The much-rumoured price tag that Liverpool have put on the winger has seemingly put teams off, the Anfield men are looking for a fee in and around the £20 million mark. A hefty fee for a player with the one single appearance for the Redmen in competitive action, that coming in 2017.

Reports suggest that the loan deal doesn’t involve any obligation to buy, as many loan moves nowadays do, which suggests Eddie Howe would like to see Wilson in action first hand before making the switch permanent.

Previous loan spells at Hull, Crewe and possibly his most successful just last season at Derby County, falling at the final hurdle in the fight for promotion to the Premier League, hasn’t done the Welshman any harm.

The lack of a permanent offer does raise some questions. Have Liverpool priced him out of a move away from Anfield? Could teams in the Top Flight see Wilson as a “Championship Player”? The player bagged 15 goals last season, a return that surely should have appealed to many teams, Premier League and Championship?

Time will tell if, or when, the move goes through. A similar season with Bournemouth to last at Derby may well put him into Liverpool and Jürgen Klopp’s plans for 2020/2021 never mind another move away, be that one loan or permanent.

At 22-Years-Old, Wilson is at a crucial stage in his development as a still young footballer. Jürgen and Liverpool letting him join another Premier League side, as opposed to another spell in the Championship, could well bring out another world-class Welsh talent.
