Top Picks

Raul Jimenez (FWD, 7.5m)

The Mexican striker was the surprise package of last year’s FPL, scoring 13 times, recording 10 assists and finishing 3rd among all strikers! He has had a price boost this year, but only to 7.5m! If Wolves continue to fight Everton for the ‘best of the rest’ title, then he will still be the easiest pick you make this year.

Differential Pick

Morgan Gibbs-White (MID, 5.0m)

Given the small squad and high profile of Wolves after last season I am stretching a bit here… the young midfielder could be given more game time as Nuno tries to balance Wolves’ Premier League campaign with their European adventure. He has represented England at all youth levels and could become a top talent with the right support, just keep an eye on him!

Defensive Pick

Conor Coady (DEF, 5.0m)

One of a handful of players to play every minute of last season, Coady is a rock at the back for Wolves. He also has the advantage of not being slapped with a ridiculous price tag (see Doherty, Matt). He didn’t get any attacking returns last season, but his consistency of starts is something you want in a defender.

Steer Clear

Matt Doherty (DEF, 6.0m)

It is quite frankly ridiculous that this man has been given a 6.0m price tag. He had a phenomenal season and was essentially playing as a winger, but he also plays for a team that punched massively above their weight and kept 9 clean sheets.

He is the same price as Digne (14 clean sheets), David Luiz (16 clean sheets) and Walker (18 clean sheets)! I loved this guy last year but there’s no way I’m going there now.
