Nicolas Pepe: The three-horse race – Arsenal; Inter Milan and Liverpool
The race is on for Nicolas Pepe and has been since the closing of last season. Surprisingly enough, no Premier League club has signed the forward. Now it appears Arsenal, Inter Milan and Liverpool are all ready to swoop in for him.
Recent reports suggest Lille are preparing their phones for unlimited phone calls and must brush up on their negotiation skills to make sure they milk possible suitors for every penny.
Three clubs are said to have all submitted bids for the potent attacker. Arsenal, Inter Milan, Liverpool are the treble of clubs said to have bid for Nicolas.

Afore this latest update on the Pepe chase, it was first rumoured that both Arsenal and Liverpool had personal agreements wrapped up with the player. Frustratingly, these reports are wide off the mark.
Liverpool’s current stance on Nicolas Pepe
The Reds are playing hot and cold with the Pepe links. Klopp has brushed off any idea of a big, significant signing before the summer window shuts. The German manager believes the Anfield side has enough personal of high quality to take on all four fronts next season coming.
Arsenal want him but are hesitant to pay £75 million
The North London side looks more likely to get his signature. However, funding is a big problem. It’s not that there are no funds but more they will look for a better and more lucrative investment. It really depends on what Unai Emery wants from his Gunners this season. This will determine whether or not they will be taking in one of the most promising 24-year-olds in the game today.
Inter Milan could be last in line for the forward
Out the lot, the Italians are the last in line for his signature. They have other targets like Romelu Lukaku, who is the top of Antonio Conte’s wish list for the summer. This transfer has been one of the most intriguing since German giants, Bayern Munich pulled out of the race for the Ivorian.
