The transfer window is at an all-time high and the frontrunners this summer has been Man United. Now that there has been no secret in Romelu Lukaku’s interest in leaving for Italy, Inter’s inches away from signing him.

Manchester United has been the busiest of the top-six clubs with several incomings already. Ole has set his wheels in motion and the bus has started moving in the Norwegian’s direction. In this direction he is steering the United red bus, I don’t think it aligns with Lukaku and his future at the club.

He has been flirting with Inter while United have made it no secret they can get a replacement quickly and are able to go on without him as an option. Since the Italian giants announced the arrival of Antonio Conte as their new manager, they’ve been busy acquiring his first-choice targets. Lukaku was at the apex of this list.

First, a loan with an option to make permanent was the deal placed on the table by the buyers. The owners deemed it not fit and are after a sweeter deal consisting of a permanent move with more money upfront.

It appears Man United will get their way

"Inter Milan are expected to make a new offer of £60m plus bonuses for Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku this week. The proposal, which Inter hope would be structured over two or three years, is for a permanent deal with bonuses designed to help the Serie A club get closer to United’s valuation. The new offer is an improvement on Inter’s initial two-year loan request with instalments of £9m, £27m and £27m to be paid in consecutive years. United will accept Inter’s bid – Reasons why

United have already worked out how to play without the forward, and have opted to use Marcus Rashford to lead the line most times under Ole. They’ve already spent money in areas where they needed to spend more than cash in on. Basically, areas that required immediate improvement from last season.

Now they need to focus on other position by getting in players more suited to what the manager wants and needs. Safe to say the Belgium international is not one of them? Yes, safe to say it’s not him. So what to do? Give the green light to move over, cash in on him and use the funds for one of their summer targets.

The final reason is Conte and his will to want Lukaku. Even at Chelsea, the Italian wanted Romelu over Alvaro Morata. However, the former snubbed Stamford Bridge for Old Trafford and missed out on a league title with Conte.

Next. Who will win the Ballon D'or. dark

Now he wants him at the San Siro and because of these reasons, United will accept their offer very soon.. Or they will leave themselves in a tight space to secure a replacement signing before the window shuts in three weeks time.

I do not believe they want to keep the robust striker at Manchester.
