The Premier League was one hell of a ride from the offset till the final whistle! Man City found a worthy challenger in Liverpool in their title-defending season.

Man City couldn’t better their 100 points season and this time had to battle game after game to obtain their EPL title.

In a nutshell, the season went… Man City top of the table then Liverpool. Then a week after that and City was back on top. Not long after, Klopp’s men were back at the summit. This eventually ran up until the final day of action.

Their FA Cup way to the finals was an easy run, and quite frankly Watford was far from equipped to take on the powerhouse that is Manchester City. As it was the FA Cup so was it in the Carabao Cup, too easy. Not really put to the test and did what was expected of them, win both cups.

Pep’s men managed to bag a total of 169 goals across all competitions. Besides the four losses in the league run, City only lost another two games all season. Six games with no win out of the 61 games played. What a record for the Spaniard and Man City.

That came in the Champions League. One in the group stage by the hands of Lyon and the loss to Tottenham in the knockout round. Almost a a perfect run by the Manchester side.
