Man City, the first team to win back-to-back Premier League titles since the great Sir Alex Ferguson’s Manchester United.

There was a reason to celebrate once again for the blue half of Manchester. In fact, there were four reasons to celebrate. A marvellous campaign capped off by taking a treble while their noisy neighbours took absolutely nothing.

Was the season successful? Yes, it was 100% a successful 2018-19 term for the Citizens. Although the goal of the Champions League was missed once again, nothing can be faulted really when there’s a domestic treble consisting of a Carabao Cup, FA Cup, and the Premier League title.

The other silverware they acquired was the FA Community Shield. Is this a major cup, yes or no? A never-ending debate that will be discussed until the end of time.

As we approach the new season and clubs are busy with the work behind closed doors, let us review Man City’s 2018-19 campaign.
