The perfect match. Liverpool and Klopp have been the perfect combination since the German walked into Anfield.

Klopp’s tenure at Liverpool has witnessed three finals on the European stage, this being the third one. Unhappily, the German has failed miserably in all of the previous duels.

The animated man on the sideline gave the Reds hope, better years are still to come after a spectacular title-drive taking on Man City, who were crown champions after a final day victory. He matched Pep almost game-for-game.

The man from Mainz and Borussia Dortmund has taken a bang average team to two consecutive Champions League finals. This is his last chance at fulfilling his promise he made at the inauguration of his Reds journey.

In his four years at the club, he will bring silverware back to the club. Is this the third time lucky perhaps?
