It was reported by sources in Italy that Pep Guardiola’s could potentially be Massimiliano Allegri’s successor at Juventus.

This could be devastating news for the prevailing champions of England if true. The origins breaking the news of Pep’s unexpected change to become the new man for the Old Lady is said to be reliable.

Federico Gennarelli from Italy believes Juventus settled things with the Premier League winner on a four-year deal to take the reigns over from Allegri. Although, the talks from the man himself says otherwise in this saga that’s now occurring during the worst time possible for the Blues of Manchester.

The current Manchester City boss is adamant that there is no intent on leaving England for Italy while being contracted for another two years to the club. The only way out is if he was to get the boot.

More from Manchester United

Pep told the media;

"How many times do I have to say? I’m not going to go to Juventus, I’m not going to move to Italy. I’m satisfied here, I’m not going anywhere. Next season I will be manager of Man City, I said many times."

This report, however, is the older of the two and was stated by Pep back on the 17th of May. Things move fast in football. Where there is smoke, there is a fire. Where there is steam, there’s a steam engine ready to roll out.

What encourages news – Problems at Man City

The Spaniard’s celebrations to their FA Cup victory in the post-match press conference were interrupted by a brave reporter Rob Harris, who raised the question of all the money allegations surrounding the club and its owners. This saw an edge reply from an uneasy Guardiola.

Was the question answered? No! The domestic treble victor avoided the simpleness of yes or no. This leads me to believe that there are in-house problems with Leroy Sane also said to be heading out of the club.

Response to Rob Harris’ question regarding Pep, the owners and separate payments;

"Do you know the question you’re asking me? Did I receive money for another situation, right now, today? Honestly, do you think I deserve to have this type of question, the day we won the treble, did I receive money? Are you accusing me of receiving money?I said yesterday, we are not guilty until it’s proven. This club makes a big step forward with the investment we have made. Can you do that without top players? No way. Money helps to buy the incredible players we have, yes.Regarding the Uefa investigation we wait, if we’re punished we accept it. But I listen to my chairman, Khaldoon al-Mubarak and my CEO, Ferran Soriano, they give me the arguments for why we are under investigation and I trust them."

dark. Next. Who can Fill the boots of Vincent Kompany

If City’s caught out for being dirty players in the business game, we could very well see Christiano Rolando and Pep Guardiola work together for the first time in football history. What a prospect this transfer window could turn out to be for Juventus. What a deadly and fatal blow this would be for Man City!
