It was reported on Monday, Brighton has parted ways with Chris Hughton after their Premier League survival. The worst piece of business ever carried out by a club.

At the beginning of the 2018-19 campaign, the Seagulls conjured up a surprise start to the Premier League. Safe to say, they were one of the tougher smaller teams to play against in the early part of the league run.

Unfortunately, the side took a huge left turn during the middle of the season that saw them drop rapidly down the shoot. This was cause for concern. Brighton went from the top half of the table and swiftly dropped further and further down, within throwing distance of the relegation zone.

It became so bad for Brighton, they went from knocking around Man United (not that knocking them around was hard) to a club fighting for a Top Flight stay. Contributor John Wozniak predicted Hughton will be the first manager to lose his job after Ole was installed as the new Man United boss.

He foresaw the weird business Brighton were about to unleash.
