Tottenham’s making haste with all their business, taking a page out of Liverpool and Man City’s transfer book. From no signings to making the loudest racket before the window opens.

Spurs have wasted no time in identifying their targets. They are not waiting for any of their rivals to come in and snatch their preferred transfers. They’ve waited an entire season to go by without making any moves for any players, so the hunger is there to get deals over the line early.

Although, in saying this, Spurs hasn’t really failed in their efforts. They’ve gotten into the Champions League for a fourth successive season after placing fourth. Not only did they make the European cut but they’ve accomplished it by defeating their rivals to the last available UCL spot.

To add to what’s turned out to be a dream season for Spurs. They join Liverpool in a Champions League Final with a huge chance to take the biggest honours in club football across Europe.

More from Tottenham Hotspur

This all without signing any players in last summer’s window and the January window past, providing the evidence Mauricio Pochettino is not a fraud, or a one hit wonder.

Tottenham back in for Ryan Sessegnon

When you think what needs work at White Hart Lane, you can’t really point out faults in the North London side. However, worthy first team cover was a missing figure throughout the 2018-19 spell for Mauricio.

This is what is needed at the club, adequate backup with world class potential. Also in the fullback positions, Spurs might lose the services of Kieran Trippier to Man United. Therefore a hole will be left on the side of the backline.

This makes Ryan Sessegnon the perfect candidate and should highly consider the switch between London clubs. The latest reports also suggest that the player and the club both want the move to happen. A deal is close to being completed and in a matter of days or weeks, he should be a Spurs player. The price set is at £25 million pounds.

Last season Spurs missed out!

The English youngster was a hot prospect before hitting the Premier League. Once centre stage, he didn’t disappoint. He made a healthy figure of 35 games (nine of them coming off from the bench).

A compelling aspect of this fullback is his ability in the final third, in attack. He has an eye for goal, as well as an eye for the hardest of passes. He will thrive under the London boos Pochettino. He is only 18-years-old and has a lot of learning to do.

Next. Ole doing his first piece of United business. dark

Even though he played for one of the worst clubs this season, he still managed to accumulate two goals and six assists. Not bad for a player playing in a relegated team. Imagine what potential he would show under the Argentine!
