It has gone from bad to worse for the Reds of Manchester who falls in at last place in The Top Flight Power Ranking.

The Red Devils received the bottom end of the stick when the Champions League draw paired them with La Liga leaders, Barcelona. Although, in saying this, any opponent facing United at this stage would have advanced to the following round.

Ole’s side was so poor they were the only team of all teams in the final eight not to register a goal over the two legs. Messi and co overpowered and outclassed United. They ended the first leg with an away goal and then three goals in the second leg, capping off a 4-0 victory over Man United.

The Old Trafford side recorded 19 shots at goal with only three being on target (over both legs). Over both legs, the Catalan side averaged 66% of the possession, displaying just how much the United side took their beating laying down.

Due to this, they placed last. Better luck next time in Ole’s full campaign as the United boss. They will be fighting till the end not to finish in a Europa League spot and end in a top-four slot.
