The home side has seen a dip in form and run of inconsistent results. They’ve already gotten knocked out of the DFB-Pokal when they lost to Werder Bremen in a penalty shootout.

Since meeting the London side, they only managed four points from the nine points up for grabs. The three games played has seen them draw one, lose one, and win one.

Their form has a similar look to what’s happened to Spurs and their league run, with Spurs performing the worst of the two. They’ve only collected one point from the three outings in space of the two’s last encounter and now. A draw and two losses, respectively.

Players missing, returning, or face a late fitness test

Dortmund has some extra firepower with Marco Reus returning from a light thigh problem. Unfortunately, Marcel Schmelzer and Christian Pulisic are battling to get in tune for the final matchup between the two. Only one player is missing from selection, Lukas Piszczek.

Harry Winks and Eric Dier have returned to training and have travelled with the squad to Germany. As we know Dele Alli is still out and not ready for selection, while the other two mentioned formally, will be left out at the start of the fixture, and not too sure about them taking part altogether.
