Transfer talks: Man United unexpectedly in for Luis Suarez from Barcelona
If this was to happen I would become a monkey’s uncle. I don’t believe Luis Suarez will ever want to be in United colours, nor does the Manchester side want him in their dressing room.
Arsenal, maybe. Man City? They already possess Sergio Aguero, a year extension sorts that out every season, so they wouldn’t worry. United? Liverpool wouldn’t even resign Luis Suarez for many reasons, so what would endorse the Red Devils to do something so bizarre?
Imagine taking a shot from the furthest corner in the darkest of night lights, with the smallest bullet and you were aiming to shoot through an eye of a needle? That’s what I think about this transfer and the reality of it actually happening.
Luis in the latter days
At 32-years-old Luis Suarez desires to resign with current La Liga leaders, Barcelona, rather than join the league they booed him in and he fought so hard to get away from. That, plus the bad blood between him and Patrice Evra back in 2012, takes all the likelihood of this transpiring right out the window.
Too many objectives for this to be taken seriously by anybody with a footballing brain. If it was to progress and he made the switch, the horror and ripple effect it would create! It will be insane to see Liverpool fans show him any sort of respect after all the things he did to them during his time at Anfield. In saying this, what he did to them he did return the favour with his world-class displays on the pitch.

"It is believed Barcelona are already looking at replacements for the 32-year-old forward as concern grows over his recent lack of form. Suarez has netted only one goal in his last eight matches for Barcelona and has only scored once in Europe in his last 17 appearances at club level.According to the report Barcelona were even prepared to sell Suarez last summer but had to change their plans after Lionel Messi protested against such a proposal. However, despite his close friendship with Messi it is now believed the Uruguay international could be forced out of Barcelona if his goal record does not improve."
Liverpool owes him an English Premier League title, so it would only make sense for him to go back to Merseyside. El Pistolero has won major honours with every other team his played for (3) excluding Liverpool.
Barcelona will offload him if his form doesn’t turn around. This is the only reason he will move on, but United? Not sure this is what they will be looking in a significant makeover coming next season.
If they find a replacement (Manchester Evening News suggests they are already in search of one for Luis Suarez) then he wouldn’t want to sit the rest of his days out eating wood on the bench.
