Man City can break away again, but it won’t come easy against a side able to take points from the big six at their home venue. Unfortunately, Watford hasn’t played as well as they started off the season.

Watford off the back of two defeats goes into the match with the wrong type of confidence. Pep’s smiling on his side, as they go into this busy session as the leaders in consecutive seasons. This, plus that Raheem Sterling is playing as one of the best players in the league – Pep knows the ball is in his court.

The Kun striker, Aguero still a doubt and will probably miss this evening’s tie against Watford. A sure absentee will be midfielder Kevin de Bruyne, who the manager has confirmed as out. The Hornets can be glad there are some returns in their camps ahead of the clash.

Only major man missing is  Etienne Capoue. Watford has to come away with a result. They have only gathered eight points from the 30 up for grab since their big win against Tottenham. They have to pick it up, or they will continue to drop after their best start to a Premier League campaign.
